 Jharkhand IAS Transfer: Manjunath Bhajantri was given charge of Jamshedpur and the DC of 14 districts, including Deoghar, was shifted


Tuesday saw 14 IAS officers removed by the Jharkhand government. New individuals were appointed as deputy commissioners in several areas, while many others were transferred to the headquarters. The cops who don't have any duties will help out in the personnel department. The following is the transfer list. DC Dumka has assigned Ravishankar Shukla to DC Seraikela Kharsawan.

2 Alcatraz scam suspects were not exonerated

Mahesh Mehra and Nagwant Pandey, residents of Kolkata, were denied relief in this case by Special ED Judge PK Sharma's court. They were accused of laundering Rs 1.08 crore in the Alcatraz fraud.


The judge denied both parties' requests for anticipatory bail after hearing from both sides. 1.08 million rupees were illegally taken out after 26 fraudulent bitumen challans were presented. Illegal evacuations occurred between 2004 and 2006 while RCD Daltonganj upgraded the Parva-Garhwa route. The petition was then dismissed by the court. Both had petitions submitted in May and June.
