In this checking operation, which lasted from morning to evening, 350 travellers were apprehended, and a fine of more than two lakh rupees was obtained from them. Such ticketless travellers were assessed a Rs. 250 fine per person. Trains travelling through the station were also inspected at this time.




Jamshedpur News: Under the direction of Deputy Chief Commercial Manager (Passenger Facilitation), Arjun Majumdar, an unexpected ticket checking operation was carried out at Tatanagar Railway Station. 350 people were stopped during this inspection exercise, which ran from 6 am to 6 pm, and a fine of more than Rs 2 lakh was collected from them.

At Tatanagar Railway Station, 20 ticket inspectors and RPF jawans began the checking process. 150 of these people were discovered during this and were fined Rs. 250 each person for not having tickets for any of the stations.


Trains travelling via Tatanagar Railway Station were also inspected at the same time. 125 such individuals who had general class tickets but were riding in sleeper or other higher class coaches were discovered at this time. This is the first occasion after Kovid-19 that so many people were detained in one day at Tatanagar Railway Station.


The Mumbai-Howrah Gitanjali Express, Ahmedabad-Howrah Superfast Express, Utkal Express, South Bihar Express, Tata-Hatia Express, Tata-Kharagpur Passenger, Barbil-Howrah Janshatabdi Express, and other trains were all the subject of investigations.

Rita Devi (38), a passenger on the Tata-Thowe 18181 Express, said that thieves had taken a woman's pocketbook from the train's window at the Asansol Railway Station. She and her family were travelling in S-1 coach on July 22 according to the lawsuit. The criminal fled by stealing his luggage from the outside as the train halted at Asansol's station number 6. One lakh six thousand goods, including a mobile phone, gold earrings and jhumkas, and Rs 11,000 in cash, were all in the bag.
