In Aligarh's crowded population, there was terror as a crocodile began to run through the streets

In Aligarh, a crocodile was discovered in a heavily populated neighbourhood. The crocodile was then released, which caused terror in the neighbourhood.

Aligarh. In Aligarh's heavily populated region, a crocodile was spotted wandering the streets late at night. A video of the encounter has gone popular on social media. Following this, the region is filled with panic. An ancient puddle is found in the Aligarh neighbourhood of Bannadevi police station, which includes Nai Basti. There had been rumours about crocodiles there for a while, but this time the rumours were confirmed.

The local population is in a state of terror following the unleashing of the crocodile. Wasim Ahmed Salmani, a local citizen, claims that he phoned the forest department multiple times but that no suitable response was provided by the forest department authorities. During the wet season, there is a pool nearby from which this crocodile frequently emerges and then wanders the neighbourhood. Despite the fact that this crocodile has not yet hurt anyone, there is a sense of terror in the neighbourhood as a result.

Divisional Director (DFO) Diwakar Kumar Vashisht of the Aligarh Forest Department provided information, stating that at roughly 11:30 am, we received a video that is a CCTV tape and that it is being told of the Nai Basti area of Aligarh. A crew was dispatched right away after a crocodile was seen roaming the streets in the footage. Another crew is on the scene to corroborate this and is investigating the crocodile's origin and if it can be saved and reintroduced into the river. Crocodiles were said to exist there in the past, but we were never made aware of them. Now, we are aware of them for the first time and are working to save them.
