The East Coast Railway's Bhubaneswar station has successfully tested this innovative gadget, which goes by the name of EI Panel.




The installation of this gadget at Tatanagar Station and the other stations in the Chakradharpur division is now being prepared, according to Jamshedpur. Following the greatest train catastrophe in Balasore on June 2, the railway administration has been informed. New audio equipment is now being put in the stations for the safety of the passengers; it will be fastened to the signal panel and video screen of the station.


Up until the RRI office personnel or the station master on duty resets the main line, the audio system will continue to play on a regular basis as part of the procedure. The audio system will play until the point is reversed when each train arrives at the station so that the on-duty crew can reset the point accurately. With the aid of cutting-edge technology, these actions are being done to reach the goal of zero accidents.


The audio system will function as follows

Currently, there are two to three up and down lines at each station. For instance, the interlocking system at the crossing connects the relevant train to the designated platform when a signal from the main line instructs a train to enter platform number five. The interlocking system near the junction will be informed to be removed from level number five and reset when the train arrives at the relevant platform thanks to the audio system.


The primary factor that caused the accident in Balasore was

The Coromandel Express struck the goods train from behind as it was stationary at Bahanaga station in the Kharagpur division. This incident also included the Bengaluru-Howrah Express, which was travelling through the up line. Since this event, concerns have been raised concerning tampering and not resetting the interlocking mechanism.
