Exam at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University: Due to the potential for flooding in the nation's capital, all final semester examinations originally planned for July 14, 15, and 16 have been postponed.




In Delhi. IP Exam at the university: Due to the flood-like conditions in the city, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha (GGSIP) University has postponed all of the final session exams scheduled for July 14, 15, and 16. The revised exam timetable will be made public soon, according to the university's notice. In addition, the remaining exams for the various programmes will be held on the dates and at the times specified in the already published timetable.


In this regard, the institution has sent a statement stating that "the final season examinations of GGSIPU scheduled on July 14 (Friday), July 15 (Saturday), and July 16, 2023 (Sunday) have been postponed due to the flood-like situation in some parts of Delhi." Till further instructions, (Theory/Practical) have been postponed.


Delhi's most significant areas are still underwater

The water level in the Yamuna river has decreased to 208.35 metres as of 11 a.m. on Friday after smashing the 45-year record four days earlier. Nevertheless, a lot of crucial districts of Delhi remain underwater.


On Thursday, the Yamuna's water level was constant for three hours before rising once more at 7 o'clock to 208.66 metres, which is three metres above the 205.33-meter danger mark. Data from the Central Water Commission (CWC) show that on Friday, the water level was 208.57 metres. At 5 a.m., a minor decline was seen and measured at 208.48 metres. At 8 am, 208.42 metres of water were in the Yamuna, 208.38 metres at 10 am, and 208.35 metres at 11 am.
