Because of this, consumers encountered several issues. However, even after the service has been resumed, reports of issues with ticket booking persist.

At 11:00 am, IRCTC released information about the effects of online ticket buying through the website and app. Information on the return of the service has now been released at 2:30 pm.

However, there are a variety of responses to it on Twitter. Users claim that when they use the app to order tickets, their payment is debited, but the tickets are not actually booked. Apparently, there are still some issues with the app. They continue to have trouble ordering tickets.

Due to the suspension of ticket booking on the IRCTC website and app, online ticket sales around the nation were hampered for more than 4 hours. At the train station, more reservation counters have been opened for the convenience of the travellers. At Dhanbad station, a second reservation counter was also established.

Asansol, Jasidih, Howrah, Kolkata, Bardhaman, and Sahibganj are just a few of the main stations where Eastern Railway has announced the opening of new reservation booths. Many other Zonal Railways added additional reservation counters at other stations.
