So far, a record number of pilgrims have arrived in Chardham

As of today, a record 25 lakh pilgrims have visited Chardham, even though the yatra only officially began on April 22 with the opening of the doors to Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham. There are still around five months of the journey to go. 32 lakh tourists travelled on the Yatra in 2019, but less people did so in 2020 and 2021 as a result of Kovid. 46 lakh people arrived in 2022, and now it is anticipated that all previous records would be shattered in 2023. More than 50 lakh pilgrims visiting Chardham is a conceivable, according to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
