Today's weather update: For a week, it might rain in Delhi-NCR. According to IMD, the monsoon has advanced in the majority of the nation. In Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, East Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Konkan, and Goa, heavy to very heavy rain is possible today. Due to severe rainfall, orange alerts have been issued across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha.


In Delhi. People in Delhi-NCR can take advantage of a week of nonstop rain. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), rain will fall continuously in Delhi till July 1. On June 26, Delhi's high is probably only going to reach 30 degrees Celsius. The sky will be mostly cloudy and there may be some light rain in Delhi today. On June 25, Delhi experienced a maximum temperature that was only 29 degrees Celsius, 8 degrees below average. In the previous 24 hours, 48.3 mm of rain fell in Delhi.


The majority of Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh have seen an advance of the monsoon, according to IMD. At this time, Veraval, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Udaipur, Narnaul, Ambala, and Katra are all along the path of the monsoon's northern limit. During the next two days, conditions are favourable for the monsoon to continue moving forward over Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu, and Kashmir. On June 26, extremely heavy rain is expected in a few isolated locations over the states of Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, East Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Vidarbha.


Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gujarat, Marathwada, and Coastal Karnataka are among the states that IMD today lists. And isolated areas in Kerala and Mahe are predicted to see heavy rain. Due to severe rainfall, IMD has issued an Orange Alert in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha.


The IMD has issued a rain and thunderstorm warning for today for coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Kerala, Mahe, Arunachal Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal. It has also issued a wind and hail warning for Karaikal.


Strong winds with gusts up to 65 kmph are expected today across parts of the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Mannar, the coast of north Andhra Pradesh, and the adjacent west central Bay of Bengal, according to IMD. Squally winds with gusts up to 50 kmph are highly likely to blow along and off the shores of Kerala, Karnataka, and Maharashtra, as well as the Lakshadweep and Comorin area, the Sri Lankan coast, and the coasts of Odisha and West Bengal. Fishermen have been cautioned against visiting these locations.
