Police sources claim that Manoj Sane, the accused, killed Saraswati Vaidya on June 3 between the hours of 10 p.m. and 12 a.m. The accused purchased a marble-cutter machine a few months prior to the murder, and on June 4 he also purchased a tree-cutter machine, indicating that the murder was well-planned.


The results of the police inquiry also showed that Manoj Sane, the accused, had relationships with numerous other women. The accused's mobile phone was used to chat with numerous other ladies, which the police have received. In the past, Manoj Sane and Saraswati Vaidya frequently fought about this issue. Police have also discovered proof on the accused's phone that Manoj Sane utilised numerous dating apps.


Manoj Sane was a sex addict, and proof from his phone indicates that he had relationships with other women as a result. There were arguments between Saraswati and Manoj Sane over this, and Saraswati feared that Manoj Sane had affairs with many other women as well. Police sources claim that the suspects Manoj Sane and Saraswati Vaidya wed a few years ago at the Nalasopara east Tungareshwar temple before moving into a Mira Road flat.


When the accused chopped the body part for the first time, quite a bit of blood spread over its walls, which caused him to become frightened, according to the police. After that, he began dismembering the body while sticking newspapers to the apartment's walls. While initially claiming not to toss a single piece of Saraswati's body away, the accused has admitted under questioning that he did throw some portions of her body down the drain near to the railway tracks. Following all of this data, the Meera Bhayandar Municipal Corporation and the police are searching those areas.


Additionally, the authorities discovered some HIV-related medications in the accused's flat. Police believe the accused had relationships with several other women. In this case, the rumours that Manoj Sane has HIV could be accurate, however the results of the medical examination are still pending. 


Police sources claim that they was given a board from the accused's room on which the class X subjects have been inscribed. Saraswati Vaidya may have been studying for the Class 10 examinations, according to the authorities. 20–25 people have so far provided statements to police in connection with the murder on Mira Road. which are owned by individuals connected to Saraswati Vaidya and Manoj Sane.


When the police were notified by the neighbours about a foul odour coming from the flat, the crime was discovered. Based to the police's FIR, Sane not only used a saw to cut the body parts into pieces and then used a pressure cooker and a kettle to boil them, but he also fried the pieces before putting them in buckets and tubs. Vaidya is thought to have passed away on June 4, but the truth only became known on June 7. Sane has been charged with violating Indian Penal Code sections 201 (evidence destruction) and 302 (murder).
