Seven police officers assigned to the Bhelupur police station, including Inspector Sushil Kumar, Mahesh Kumar, and Utkarsh Chaturvedi, were suspected of being involved. Shiv Chandra, Kapil Dev Pandey, and Mahendra Patel, all constables, were also suspended.


Later, when their role in the probe came to light, all seven of them were fired at once on Saturday. The terminated policemen in this case will also face legal punishment, according to the Police Commissioner.
