Indore. The sound of the toy train will reappear in Indore, the nation's cleanest city's Nehru Park. Since 2010, this toy train has been lying idle. On the rails installed in this facility, engines and coaches from Bhilwara in Rajasthan have been unloaded. In approximately a week, this toy train will begin to move along the track. The kids have been waiting for this train to run for the past 13 years due to Smart City Company's tardiness. However, its concrete track was already finished when it was built.
The Nehru Park, which was erected in the middle of the city, is being restored to its former splendour, according to Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava. Work is also being done in Vishram Bagh and Meghdoot Garden. The mayor claimed that my father used to take me on rides in the train back when it used to travel through Nehru Park. We wanted the train to depart quickly because of this. The toy train from Rajasthan has arrived in Indore at my suggestion. In a day or two, the trial run will be over. Following that, it will begin for kids.
On the train, it cost 60 lakh rupees.
Over 11 acres, Nehru Park has been beautifully landscaped by The Smart City Company for roughly Rs 8 crore. Swings and play structures for kids have been added to the park along with the toy railway. In the park, a food zone has also been established. Other amenities include an open theatre, a fenced lawn, and a play area for children. This miniature train's ticket has been set at Rs. 50. The agency of Rajasthan has been granted operational responsibility for the toy train. This organisation spent 60 lakh rupees to bring the toy train to Indore. Additionally, the Rajasthani company Shankarlal Cast Company operates a toy railway in Alwar and Jaipur.
This park used to be bustling with children.
People claimed that the park used to be bustling with kids before this train arrived. The majority of parents used to take their kids to this park for outings. However, this Nehru Park train came to an end in 2010. Since that time, less visitors are coming here. Contrarily, the Corona era also had a detrimental effect on life. People ceased leaving the house. After this train starts running, it's anticipated that the park will once more be bustling with kids.
