The central personnel will have a very happy year this year. For their January 2023, a dearness allowance has now been announced. But in the interim, even another heartwarming development has emerged. Let's learn all the pertinent information.

The CPI-IW index statistics for January 2023 are available. The index has increased by 0.5 points to 132.8. This raise makes it obvious that the dearness allowance will increase in July 2023. The path is being prepared for the July DA/DR hike. The score for central staff and pensioners has now gone up by 1%. The dearness allowance for January 2023 was therefore 42.37%.
