Twitter chief Elon Musk still can't believe he bought the social media company.
Billionaire Elon Musk completed a $44 billion deal and took over Twitter last October. Since then, he has been making several changes to the microblogging platform including paid verification, account restoration, new rules and regulations, etc. Some big changes are yet to be made this month.
In the midst of it all, there's a new Twitter chief and many users still can't believe they've bought the social media company. Musk interacted with some users on Twitter.
"Haha I still can't believe Elon bought Twitter," tweeted Whole Mars Catalog.
Elon Musk replied, "Me neither." "Sucks that I had to sell so much Tesla stock to do that (sigh)," he said.
Musk's tweet has received over 2 million views and 35,000 likes.

Another user commented, "My man is living in another dimension of eternal high."
Another user wrote, "The way I see it, that makes him a global kingmaker - all leaders have to compete on HIS #1 news platform. Very good buy at $44b. #freedomworks."
When he moved "enough" to Twitter, Twitter had to sign the company (as described) to the Musk side. The deal was publicly reported to be closed, so we (the public) It's done for." A user has been added.
On Wednesday, the billionaire disabled his account to test engagement through public and private posts, saying there were "some issues with the system".
Meanwhile, Twitter has seen advertisers flee amid concerns about Musk's approach to content moderation rules, which has hit its revenue. Musk also reported in November that Twitter had seen a "huge" drop in revenue and blamed activist groups for putting pressure on advertisers.
He previously said that the acquisition of Twitter would be part of a master plan to create "the everything app", a service that would offer social networking, peer-to-peer payments and e-commerce purchases. Prior to Musk's acquisition, Twitter was exploring allowing its users to receive tips, or digital payments, from their followers as early as 2021.
