Honda to launch CB350 RS cafe racer on March 2: What to expect

Honda India has announced that it will launch the CB350 RS cafe racer motorcycle on 2nd March. It is an addition to Honda's H'ness CB350 lineup, which has received a good response since its launch in 2020. The new cafe racer variant is expected to get a sportier design and some new features while retaining the same engine as the H'ness CB350.

Upgrades such as OBD2 compliance are also expected for the CB350 H'ness and CB350RS models.

The power figures are likely to remain unchanged at 20.8 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 30 Nm of peak torque at 3,000 rpm. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Other features that will be retained include LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument console and dual-channel ABS.

The Honda CB350 cafe racer is all set to be launched on March 2 and is expected to carry the same mechanical components as the standard CB350. The bike will get visual upgrades like headlamp bikini fairing, rear seat cowl and likely chrome or blacked-out finish. The 348 cc single-cylinder engine is expected to remain the same, with OBD2 compliance and likely to be tuned for E20 fuel. The bike will retain features like LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, semi-digital instrument console and more.

Talking about rivals, the Honda CB350 cafe racer will compete against the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and the Jawa 42 with an expected price tag of around ₹2 lakh (ex-showroom). More details will be available at launch, and the bike is expected to hit showrooms in late March.
