DRDO to showcase a variety of indigenously developed technologies and systems during Aero India 2023

 


DRDO will display a wide range of indigenously developed products and technologies. The Defense Ministry said it will provide a number of demonstrations, flight demonstrations and seminars apart from showcasing its flagship products in the Indian Pavilion.


New Delhi: In an endeavor to integrate various stakeholders of the Defense R&D ecosystem in the country, the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) plans to showcase the rich experience of indigenous defense technologies and systems during the 14th Aero India, which To be held in Bengaluru in mid-2019. 13-17 February 2023.


“DRDO will be showcasing a wide range of indigenously developed products and technologies. It will provide several exhibitions, flight demonstrations and seminars apart from showcasing its flagship products in the Indian Pavilion," the Defense Ministry said in a statement.


It will include a display of products from Aeronautical Systems, Missiles, Armaments, Electronics, Micro Electronic Devices and Computational Systems, Soldier Support Technologies, Life-Sciences, Naval and Material Science, among others.


The display will showcase the recent progress made by DRDO in taking forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'.


The DRDO pavilion will showcase over 330 products classified into 12 sectors, including Fighter Aircraft and UAVs, Missiles and Tactical Systems, Engines and Propulsion Systems, Airborne Surveillance Systems, Sensors Electronic Warfare and Communication Systems, Parachute and Drop Systems, Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning and cyber. systems, materiel, ground systems and munitions, life support services, and industry and education outreach.


The key products in each of the 12 sectors are: AMCA, LCA Tejas Mk2, TEDBF, Archer, TAPAS UAV, Abhyas, Fighter Aircraft and Autonomous Stealth Wing Flying Test Bed from the UAV sector; Akash, Astra, QRSAM, Helina, Nag, Pralay from the missile and strategic systems sector; Small turbo fan engine from FACECU, gearbox module, Kaveri dry engine prototype, engine and propulsion zone; AEW&C-NETRA, AEW&C-MkII, MMMA aircraft, IFF, AAAU models from the aerial surveillance systems sector; TWIR, BFSR-SR, Bharani, Ashlesha, AATRU, ASPJ pod, LEOP sensors from Electronic Warfare and Communications Systems zone; Military Combat Parachute Systems, brake parachute, P-16 Heavy Drop System from Parachute and Drop Systems Zone; Airborne Sonar with Helicopter Model, Air Launched Directional Sonobuoy from Naval Systems Zone; DDCA, INDIGIS, Air Warfare Simulation System, QRNG from Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning and Cyber Systems Zone; FSAPDS, titanium alloy from the material field; ASREM, the surveillance ROV, from the Sumitra Land Systems and Munitions sector; Integrated Life Support System, Helicopter Oxygen System from Life Support Services Zone and Wankel Rotary Engine, Jet Fuel Starter, Radio Altimeter from Industry and Academia Outreach Zone.


Five DRDO products will be on display in the India Pavilion.
