Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy A23 5G in India on 18 January. The upcoming 5G smartphone is confirmed to sport a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and an AI-powered intelligent battery that can last up to two days. Ahead of the launch, the alleged price of the handset has been leaked online.


According to a report by PhoneEV, a source has suggested that the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G could have a starting price of ₹23,999. The handset may pack 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. There could be another model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. According to the report, the price of the variant of the phone can be Rs 25,999.


Samsung Galaxy A23 5G features confirmed


Samsung has created a dedicated website for the upcoming Galaxy A23 5G. According to this, the smartphone will be equipped with a 6.6-inch Infinity-V screen. The refresh rate of the display can be 120Hz.


The smartphone has been teased with two days of battery life. It will come with a custom OneUI skin with the ability to personalize the lock screen, icons with different color options, and the ability to customize the background. The UI will also offer features like split screen, quick share, and privacy dashboard.


On the camera front, the upcoming Galaxy A series phones will come with no-shake cam feature. It has been teased to capture blur free videos even while in motion.


Alleged features of Samsung Galaxy A23 5G


The smartphone has a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. Other rear camera sensors could include a 5MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the handset is rumored to come with an 8MP camera on the front.


The device is claimed to house a 5,000mAh battery. As per rumours, the handset may come with a 33W adapter with fast-charging support.
