Wipro has signed a multi-year partnership with fintech firm Finastra for the digital transformation of corporate banks in the Middle East. The agreement will make Wipro the exclusive implementation and go-to-market partner for deploying Finastra's trade finance solutions in the region.
With Finastra's product suite, Wipro will help banks transform and digitize the entire financial process, according to a company statement.
In a statement, Mohd Hamza, Regional Head of Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) in the Middle East, Wipro, said, “Corporate banks are key players in this sector and are constantly adapting their modes of operations to deal with the evolving situation. are driving significant changes in the industry. Re-imagining digital services to improve customer experience and rationalizing platforms and operations centers to increase efficiency are key priorities in this sector."

Wipro has been operating in the Middle East for decades and the region is part of its six focus areas. Other focus areas include Wipro's Asia Pacific, India and Africa (APMEA) strategic market unit.
Additionally, Wipro also secured a five-year multi-million dollar contract with Mazda Motor Logistics Europe. Wipro has been awarded the order to provide next generation managed services for its entire application landscape.
