WhatsApp introduces feature to deactivate call alerts for Windows Beta

• According to a report by WABetaInfo, this feature to turn off notifications for WhatsApp calls has been rolled out for beta testers after the launch of WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2250.4.0 update available on Microsoft Store.

WhatsApp, the Meta-owned instant messaging platform, is rolling out a new feature that will give users the ability to turn off call notifications on Windows Beta. According to a report by WABetaInfo, this feature to turn off notifications for WhatsApp calls has been introduced for beta testers after launching the WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2250.4.0 update available on the Microsoft Store.

To find the feature, users can open WhatsApp Settings, then go to Notifications. After selecting the toggle for the feature, users can choose to disable notifications for incoming WhatsApp calls.

The feature to disable call notifications can be helpful as sometimes these notifications may not appear when the device is on do not disturb mode, so users can disable the notifications anyway.

According to a report, WhatsApp is also rolling out three new large animated heart emoji for beta testing. Notably, the instant messaging app has implemented the feature with WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.18.8.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is also rolling out a new update version 2.23.1.3 through the Google Play beta program, which will bring three new large animated heart emoji along with heart emoji of all other types/colors.

This development comes a month after the same source reported that WhatsApp is working on 21 new emoji. It can be seen that the new emoji are not showing up within the emoji keyboard.

Meanwhile, the instant messaging app has recently added several new features and the latest one is Disappearing Messages. Now the Meta-owned company is working on an extreme version of the same feature and messages can be viewed once before they disappear.

According to a report in Mashable, WABetaInfo suggested that the extreme version of disappearing messages would be a message that can only be viewed once before disappearing, for both the sender and the recipient.

Initially the feature was limited to only one option (disappearing after seven days), WhatsApp later expanded the disappearing messages feature to allow messages that disappear after 24 hours or 90 days.
