Additionally, a Twitter user has also pointed out that he has seen the feature on Uber, as per a report. With the help of this feature, users will be able to check how their food delivery or ride is going.
According to a report, Uber and its subsidiary UberEats now support the Live Activities feature on the iPhone. According to a report by 9to5Mac, the feature will let users track their rides and orders through the lock screen or through the Dynamic Island of the iPhone 14 Pro.
Reportedly, the Live Activities feature for Uber and UberEats was first spotted by a Reddit user. Additionally, a Twitter user has also pointed out that he has seen the feature on Uber, as per a report. With the help of this feature, users will be able to check how their food delivery or ride is going.
However, the rolling out of the feature to all users cannot be confirmed as of now. Reportedly, the feature will be rolled out in phases to all the users and they can download the latest versions of the same from the Apple Store to run the feature.
To enable the Live Activities feature on the iPhone, users need to go to the Settings app, search for UberEats and Uber, and turn on the 'Live Activities' toggle button.
Meanwhile, Uber has added new security updates to protect riders and commutes. The company has introduced new features like updated ride check feature, seatbelt reminder, SOS integration, upgraded safety toolkit, expanded support etc.

Uber makes rear seat belts mandatory for passengers. At the start of the journey, passengers will get an audio rear seatbelt reminder with push notifications on the smartphone.
The company has updated its ride check feature which was launched in 2019. The feature will be able to detect when a trip deviates from the expected route or if the driver unexpectedly ends the trip before the rider reaches the final destination.
