As Twitter suffered a major outage, CEO Elon Musk has now tweeted saying that changes have been made to 'critical backend server architecture'.
He further added that 'Twitter should feel fast.'
Taking to the microblogging site, the Tesla CEO wrote, "Important backend server architecture changes were made. Twitter should feel faster."

The outage comes two months after Elon Musk acquired Twitter in a $44 billion deal.
Elon Musk, one of the world's richest men and Tesla CEO, has made significant changes to the site, from introducing a paid subscription service, and overseeing divisive revisions to its moderation procedures.
Several Twitter users took to the comments with astonished reactions to the sudden announcement.
"Do we need to restart the app?"
Another user wrote, "How sharp at all? It always feels the same."
While another user wrote, "Yes I needed this! Thank you Elon for everything you do."
The update came after the microblogging platform was outed in the early hours of Thursday.
According to a report in Al Jazeera, the web version of the platform faced a major problem. This was difficult for many users, who received an error message when they tried to sign in.
More than 8,700 users reported problems with the site as of 7:30am EST (12:30pm GMT), Al Jazeera reported, citing DownDetector, which tracks website outages.
DownDetector said in a tweet, "User reports indicate Twitter is experiencing problems since 7:13 EST." The outage comes two months after Elon Musk acquired Twitter in a USD 44 billion deal.
Meanwhile, the multi-billionaire announced on Wednesday that the new Twitter policy will not only follow science but also question science.
"Twitter's new policy is to follow the science, which necessarily includes reasoned questions of science," Musk tweeted.
In a follow-up tweet to his initial policy statement, Musk said, "Anyone who says that criticizing them amounts to doubting the science itself cannot be considered a scientist."
