Salt Bae no stranger to Lionel Messi: Photos, videos emerge to show old connections

FIFA has launched an investigation into how Salt Bae gained "unreasonable access" to the ground.

After Argentina defeated France in the final of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, celebrity chef Salt Bay was seen holding the trophy and cooing. He eagerly posed for photographs with stunned Argentina players, including a distraught and furious Lionel Messi. Now, FIFA is investigating how BAE gained "unreasonable access" to the arena.

Messi apparently tried to avoid the unwanted attention, but the Turkish businessman - whose real name is Nusrat Gokce - grabbed Leo's hand twice. He was also seen chewing on another player's medal while being pictured with Lisandro Martinez and Angel Di Maria.

Salt Bay is the most intolerable person I have ever come across in my life.

Only players from the winning team of the World Cup, as well as FIFA officials and state leaders, are allowed to hold the trophy. FIFA is investigating how people gained unauthorized access to the ground after the closing ceremony of the Lusail Stadium on 18 December. A spokesman told the BBC: "Appropriate internal action will be taken."

Salt Bay-owned luxurious eateries include Beverly Hills in Los Angeles and the opulent Knightsbridge in London. He released a video earlier in the World Cup of himself in a game sitting next to FIFA chief Gianni Infantino. Salt Bay was one of Infantino's constant teammates in Doha.

Salt Bay was also featured alongside Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who was in Qatar to watch the World Cup final.

Photos and video clips have now emerged to show that Salt Bay is no stranger to Macy's.

In one of the clips, the Argentina World Cup hero is seen meeting, chatting and hugging the celebrity chef at his restaurant. He is also seen posing for the camera along Salt Bay. The video is apparently based around the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia.
