People can visit any of the five scheduled time slots of one hour duration in the coming days. Visitors are allowed into the Rashtrapati Bhavan between 10 am and 11 am, 11 am and 12 noon, 12 noon and 1 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm, and 3 pm and 4 pm.
However, Rashtrapati Bhavan will remain closed on gazetted holidays. The Rashtrapati Bhavan remains open for five days a week, in contrast, the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex will be open for public viewing six days a week from Tuesday to Sunday, except on gazetted holidays.
The formal military ritual, the Change of Guard ceremony, is held every week at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. People can also watch the ceremony every Saturday from 8 am to 9 am in the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan. However, only those who have pre-booked their arrival are allowed to witness the ceremony.
