Sources told news agency PTI that the ongoing winter session 2022 of Parliament is likely to end on December 23, a week ahead of schedule.
According to sources, in the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of the Lok Sabha, it was decided to end the winter session early.
The winter session of Parliament, which began on December 7, was earlier scheduled to continue till December 29.
Earlier in the day, BJP and opposition members witnessed heated exchanges over some comments made by Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge.
There was a heated debate in the Rajya Sabha between Union Minister Piyush Goyal and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.
