Messi's talent will make all the difference: Jurgen Klinsmann advises Argentina to do just that

 

Jürgen Klinsmann, the great German football player, has a word of advice for the Argentines.

Jurgen Klinsmann thinks, in the final against France, Argentina's other players will have to make it easy for Lionel Messi - who will be under immense pressure to produce something incredible. The Germany legend also believes that "Messi's talent" will make all the difference in the final.

In what is likely to be Messi's final World Cup participation, Klinsmann believes Argentina are the favorites if they can control their emotions. He thinks that the Albiceleste are aware of how close they are to winning the competition outright.

"I think it comes down to their emotional factor a little bit. If Argentina can balance their emotions - their expectations are through the roof - and they failed to deal with it at the start of the tournament and they will go against Mexico. Was nervous," Klinsmann told BBC One.



"If Argentina can balance the emotional side, they are very hungry for this title. If they are able to, they are my favourite."

Klinsmann heads FIFA's Technical Study Group and will be present at the Lusail Stadium for the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Alvarez has to work defensively, according to Klinsmann, he lets Messi "breathe for special moments".


While most of the big superstars have done well in this tournament, the former German player said that if Messi had to pick one particular player from the competition, most people would likely pick him.


For entertainment purposes, Klinsmann believes the competition should have an initial goal. As both sides adopt a similar strategy, they respond to incidents with excellent reflexes and then retaliate at breakneck speed. It will be interesting to see who takes more chances, as according to the former US manager, they will neutralize each other initially as no one wants to get too carried away.
