Katrina Kaif signed as the brand ambassador of PepsiCo's Aquafina brand

Actor Katrina Kaif has been signed as the brand ambassador for PepsiCo India's packaged-water brand Aquafina. Prior to this, she was the brand ambassador of the company's fruit flavored sugary drink Slice for the last 16 years.


While the company hasn't announced its advertising plans for the brand yet, the actor said she's wanted to do something in the hydration space for a while.


“I am very happy to have this opportunity with him to be the face of this brand. Also, Slice has been one of the longest collaborations I've been a part of. It has been a wonderful association and I wish them all the best for the journey ahead," said Kaif.


Anuj Goyal, Associate Director, Tropicana and Slice, PepsiCo India, said, “Slice will always remind us of Katrina Kaif, who has been an amazing face for the brand. This is not a goodbye, but the start of a new journey as we continue our association with it by welcoming it to the packaged-water family."


Last month, the company launched a television commercial film for its flagship brand Pepsi alongside actor Salman Khan.
