India reports 3,767 actived Covid cases

 



So far, more than 219.98 crore vaccine doses have been given to people across the country under the Covid vaccination campaign.

India's active Covid cases have come down to 3,767, said Health Ministry data. Over 4.46 crore Covid cases have been reported so far, while India has recorded 530,668 Covid deaths in the last nearly three years.

There is a decline in Covid cases across the country, Karnataka has 1402 active cases while Kerala has 1434 active cases. Maharashtra has 193 active cases, Odisha has 109 cases, Rajasthan has 76 cases, Tamil Nadu has 55 active cases; Uttar Pradesh 100 and West Bengal 46 active cases so far.

The country has conducted more than 1,17,735 tests in the last 24 hours.

So far, more than 219.98 crore vaccine doses have been given to people across the country under the Covid vaccination campaign. In the last 24 hours, around 59,257 vaccine doses were administered.

Meanwhile, INSACOG under the supervision of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) is closely monitoring the COVID situation in the country and continues to do genome sequencing to track down any new variants.

In addition, surveillance is also being done at the hospital level to monitor for Influenza Like Illness (III) and SARI cases.

With the low number of Covid cases, several state governments have relaxed travel norms and relaxed the mandatory wearing of masks.

Recently, the Ministry of Health has also issued updated travel guidelines for the public, stating that all travelers should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in their home country as per the approved primary schedule of vaccination.
