IMF endorses India's G20 agenda for a prosperous future, here's what it says

 



India took over the presidency of the G20 on Thursday.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) 'fully' supports the G20 agenda of India which formally assumed its chairmanship on Thursday. A senior official of the international financial body was speaking to a group of journalists ahead of his visit to China and India next week, according to news agency PTI.

Sela Pazarbasioglu, director of the Strategy and Policy Review Department at the IMF, said, "India is putting together a collective agenda for a more prosperous future.
