IMD issues Yellow Alert for Bengaluru post Cyclone Mandus effect, here's to do list

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a Yellow Alert for Bengaluru on 11 December citing the impact of Cyclone Mandus.

This means that the silicon city of India will see a few spells of rain or thundershowers and a cloudy sky till December 12. Officials say surface winds can be strong at times.

The drop in temperature in the city is also expected to give Bengalis a chilly day. It rained well on Saturday as well in the IT city and due to this traffic was affected.

As per the details, on December 11, the minimum temperature of the city witnessed a drop of 16.8 degree Celsius. According to the local forecast bulletin, the minimum temperature of Bengaluru is likely to be around 18 degree Celsius today. Besides, Davangere recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 13.3 degree Celsius.

The rainy season is expected to continue till December 13.

3) Use mask while coughing or meeting people during morning walk.

4) Elderly people should keep their joints warm.

5) Eat home cooked food.

6) Exercise regularly.
