Air quality in Delhi remains in 'very poor' category; AQI at 328

According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the national capital continued to remain in the 'very poor' category with the Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 328 on Sunday morning.

According to SAFAR, Delhi's air quality remained in the 'very poor' category for the sixth consecutive day.

Earlier, AQI 323 was recorded on Saturday while AQI 335 was recorded on Friday.

Lodhi Road and Mathura Road recorded an AQI of 309 and 354 respectively.

In Delhi University area, the air quality was recorded at 'very poor' at 340. The air quality recorded in Pusa was recorded in the 'poor' category with an AQI of 300.

The air quality was also recorded at 329 at Delhi Airport Terminal 3 and 303 at IIT Delhi.

Meanwhile, Noida also recorded 'very poor' AQI at 385 today. As per the data at 7 am, Gurugram recorded an AQI of 297. grade.

An air quality index from 0 to 100 is considered good, while 100 to 200 is moderate, 200 to 300 poor, 300 to 400 very poor, and 400 to 500 or above. considered serious.
