A fire broke out in a hotel in Delhi's Karkardooma area; 9 fire engines on the spot

News agency ANI reported on 5 December that a fire broke out on the third floor of a hotel in Delhi's Karkardooma area.

According to the information received, nine fire engines are present on the spot to control the fire. Fire officials told ANI that the fire was reported at 9:12 am.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained and no casualty has been reported so far.

Last week, a fierce fire broke out in the shops of Bhagirath Palace market in Old Delhi's Chandni Chowk. The fire raged for four days and damaged more than 200 shops, while five buildings were completely or partially burnt, three collapsed.

In another incident, a massive fire broke out at a footwear manufacturing factory in Delhi's Lawrence Road industrial area.
