New Air India Express flight on Dubai-Kannur route from today

 

Airport staff conduct pre-departure checks for an Air India Express flight bound for the United Arab Emirates.

According to the schedule, there will be four flights per week, each costing 300 UAE dirhams

Launched in April 2005, Air India India Express, India's first international budget carrier providing connectivity to the Middle East and Southeast Asia, has announced new services connecting Dubai to Kannur and Sharjah to Vijayawada.

As a gift to the residents of the state, the Dubai-Kannur-Dubai flight will take off on November 1, also known as "Kerala Pirvi" day.

According to the schedule, there will be four flights per week, each costing 300 UAE dirhams.

As an initial offer, Kannur passengers will be allowed an additional five kilograms of baggage.

The flight will depart from Dubai at 6.40 pm on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. And reached Kannur at 11.40 pm.

Departure time from Kannur on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday is 12.50 hrs, and arrival time in Dubai is 3.15 hrs.

On the other hand, on 31 October, Air India Express started offering direct flights between Sharjah and Vijayawada.

.On Mondays and Saturdays, the departure time from Sharjah is 11am, and the arrival time at Vijayawada is 4.25am.

Departure time from Vijayawada is 6.35 PM, and arrival time at Sharjah is 9.05 PM. United Arab Emirates Dirham 399 covers the airfare.

Air India Express's registration with the prestigious IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) program was recently renewed.

It was one of the first on-site audits after the pandemic conducted by IATA auditors. The audit covers the airline's procedures, engineering and maintenance, along with approximately 1,000 safety-related standards and recommended practices.

On January 27, 2022, the Tata Group acquired Air India from the Government of India, and Air India Express is still a part of the group.
