'Maha thug': Conman Sukesh claims in a new letter against Arvind Kejriwal

• In the letter, he also asked Arvind Kejriwal and Satyendar Jain to stop threatening and intimidating through the jail administration.

Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar has written to his lawyer on November 5 alleging that Satyendar Jain and former Tihar DG Sandeep Goel are threatening him after the complaint with the LG of Delhi became public.

Earlier, on November 1, Sukesh had written to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi alleging that AAP leader Satyendar Jain had 'confiscated' ₹10 crore from him in 2019 to ensure his safety in jail, leading to a tussle between the AAP and the BJP. Political tension ensued.

Goel was transferred from Tihar Jail days after jailed criminal Chandrashekhar was accused of extortion of ₹10 crore for security in jail. While the BJP called AAP a "maha thug" party, "Shanku was cheated", Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal rubbished the allegations, saying it was an attempt to divert attention from the Morbi bridge collapse incident in Gujarat.

In a letter confirmed by his lawyer, Sukesh wrote, "Kejriwal ji if I am the biggest thug of the country according to you, on what basis did you get ₹50 crore from me and offer me a Rajya Sabha seat? What's the use? Great thug?"

He further wrote, "Kejriwal ji why did you force me to bring in 20-30 persons to contribute Rs 500 crore to the party in return for seats and postings in AAP, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu in 2016?"

In the letter, he also asked Arvind Kejriwal and Satyendar Jain to stop threatening and intimidating through the jail administration.

Chandrashekhar, lodged in Mandoli jail in the ₹200 crore money laundering case, submitted a letter to the LG on October 8 through his lawyer Ashok K Singh, making shocking allegations against the AAP leader.

The letter said that over ₹50 crore was given to the AAP on the promise of giving Chandrashekhar an important post in the party in the South Zone and helping him get nominated for the Rajya Sabha.

Chandrashekhar had also alleged that Jain had met him in Tihar Jail, where he was lodged after his arrest in 2017 in the 'two leaf symbol corruption case'.

He alleged that Jain, who held the charge of the jail ministry, asked him whether he had told the probe agency anything related to his contribution to the AAP.

Tihar Jail is run by the Delhi Prisons Department under the Government of Delhi.

"After this again in 2019 Satyendar Jain and his secretary and his close friend Sushil visited me in jail, as security amount for me to stay safely in jail and even get basic facilities Asked them to pay ₹2 crore every month." He had alleged.
