Pravaig Dynamics is an auto startup based in Bengaluru. It has unveiled the first electric SUV in the country called the Pravah Defy. The SUV comes with a price tag. The company has started pre-booking for the electric SUV. While the manufacturing will start in the second quarter of 2023. Here's all you need to know about the Pravaig Defy electric SUV.
Pravaig Defy Electric SUV: Battery and Performance
The Pravaig Defy is powered by a dual electric motor that is claimed to deliver 407hp and 620Nm. It houses a 5 module Li-ion battery with 5,000mAh hard case shell and a battery capacity of 90.9kWh. The SUV can also be charged at home or with a fast charger. It takes about 8 hours to fully charge. It is claimed to have a drive range of 300 km.
Pravaig Defy Electric SUV: Design and Features
The all-new SUV comes with muscular front fenders with sharp cuts and a width-running LED light bar. It gets a sloping flat roof design at the rear. The Pravaig Defy electric SUV gets a dual-tone theme. The vehicle rolls on 18-inch alloy wheels shod with 255/65R18 tyres.
At the rear, there is a compact windshield and a muscular tailgate. The LED light bar is placed horizontally. The vehicle's door handles are integrated into the body. The company said that the Defy SUV is inspired by its EV sportscar demonstrator Extinction MK1.
Inside, the Pravaig Defy SUV gets upholstered leather seats with six-way power adjustment and ventilation. There's a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment display that can double up as a navigation screen and can also be used to browse the internet. The SUV gets a 10-inch customizable screen behind the steering wheel. Other features include a wireless charger, separate climate control zones for the front and rear passengers along with 240V outlets. The vehicle also features mood lighting and a unique key card.
The Pravaig Defy also gets adaptive LED headlamps along with automatic emergency braking with 360-degrees and OTA updates.
Safety features include six airbags, tire pressure monitoring system and more.
