LPG cylinder price update: Commercial cylinder price reduced by ₹115.5. Check Latest Rates

• LPG Cylinder Price Updates: Commercial LPG rates are largely linked with cost and hence they move along with the rise and fall in international rates.

Oil Marketing Companies have reduced the price of commercial LPG cylinder per unit by ₹ 115.50 with immediate effect. This is the seventh reduction in commercial LPG prices since June, coinciding with the softening of international energy prices. Overall, the rates have come down by ₹610 per 19-kg cylinder.

With this latest revision in prices, a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1,744 instead of Rs 1,859 in Delhi.

19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Kolkata will cost ₹1,846 instead of ₹1959.00, 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Mumbai will cost ₹1,696 instead of ₹1,811.50 and 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Chennai will cost ₹1,893 instead From today it will be ₹ 1,893. 2,009.50.

On October 1, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders were also reduced. Industry sources said this is because the domestic LPG rates were much lower than the cost and now with the fall in international prices, they are on break-even. On the other hand, commercial LPG rates have been largely linked with cost and hence they have moved with the rise and fall of international prices.

However, domestic cylinder prices will remain stable. On July 6, the prices of domestic liquefied petroleum gas cylinders weighing 14.2 kg were hiked by Rs 50 per unit. Earlier, the prices of domestic cylinders were revised on May 19, 2022.

In the national capital Delhi, it currently sells for ₹1,053 per unit. Also, in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, it sells for ₹1,079, ₹1,052.5, and ₹1,068.5 respectively.

Rates vary from state to state based on local VAT.
