The CJI quoted the bar and the bench as saying that women district judges do not have any toilets.

“I was told that women district judges have no washroom and they leave the house at 8 am and can use it only when they return home at 6 pm. For some people the toilets are away from the courtroom, so when the judge has to go to the toilet, he has to pass by the undertrials sitting there, which is very embarrassing for a judge. We have to first change the face of the district judiciary."
