Delhi BJP has launched 'Har Ghar Sampark' campaign ahead of the much-awaited MCD elections in the city to connect people with the ideology of BJP.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a "Har Ghar Sampark" campaign in Delhi ahead of municipal elections in the city later this year. This campaign will be run under the leadership of state party president Adesh Gupta. With the new campaign, Delhi BJP would like to connect the people of Delhi with the ideology of BJP.

We have hoisted the Bharatiya Janata Party flag in every house and told the people of Delhi about the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Along with this, the false promises of the Delhi government have also been exposed in front of the people of Delhi. We have started 'Har Ghar Sampark Abhiyan' from Jahangirpuri which will run from 1-6 November with a target of reaching 25. million families. Our slogan is "Service is propaganda, not empty thoughts". Gupta said

Attacking the AAP-led Delhi government, Gupta said, "Delhi government is continuously spreading false propaganda and deceiving the people of Delhi. We are running this campaign to show the truth of AAP to the people of Delhi."

The BJP has also formed several committees including Manifesto Committee, Suggestion Committee, Video Van Committee, Advertisement Committee, Social Media Committee and Griha Sampark Abhiyan Committee. For better coordination between all these committees, a nodal committee has been constituted under the leadership of BJP leader Ashish Sood.

The total number of MCD wards in Delhi was reduced from 272 to 250 after a notification was issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday regarding the re-scheduling of municipal wards. After the delimitation process, the total wards will become 250, out of which 42 wards will be reserved. With the issuance of the final delimitation order, elections to 250 MCD seats are expected to be held soon.

Before the amalgamation of the three municipal corporations into a single entity called the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Earlier there were 272 wards in three corporations, North Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and East Delhi Municipal Corporation. While the North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation had 104 wards each, the East Delhi Municipal Corporation had 64 wards.
