According to WhatsApp, administrators are responsible for creating and managing communities on WhatsApp. In addition, admins can choose which groups to become part of their community by creating new groups or adding to existing ones. “Community admins will also have the ability to isolate groups from the community and to remove individual members from the community altogether. Additionally, group admins will be able to remove inappropriate or abusive chats or media for all group members Will be,” says WhatsApp.

WhatsApp users can control their conversations within communities. The messaging app's existing settings allow users to decide who can add them to groups - and these settings will apply to communities as well.
