"Workers were scorched by hot water falling at a gas mixing plant, which led to a fire," said an India Today report, adding, "There were no casualties and the area has been sealed due to the incident." The IOC was not immediately available for comment outside of normal business hours.
In December last year, three people were killed and 44 were injured when a fire broke out during maintenance work at the refinery.
