Mumbai Local Update: The suburban train services between Belapur/Nerul and Kharkopar will run as per schedule during the block period.
• Mumbai Local Train Updates: All Up and Dn locals leaving/arriving CSMT from 11.00 AM to 5.00 PM will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
The Central Railway zone of Indian Railways will operate a mega block on its suburban sections today to carry out various engineering and maintenance works. These are the areas where Mumbai local traffic will be regulated
Matunga-Thane Up and Down slow line from 11.05 am to 3.45 pm
Dn slow line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.14 am to 3.18 pm will be diverted to Dn fast line between Matunga and Thane stations between Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Thane stations. Down slow line will be diverted. Will reach destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
Up slow line services leaving Kalyan from 10.25 a.m. to 3.10 p.m. will be diverted to Up fast line between Thane and Matunga and up to Matunga stopping at Thane, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla and Sion. Will be redirected on slow line and will arrive. Destination 15 minutes behind scheduled time.
All Up and Dn locals leaving/arriving CSMT from 11.00 AM to 5.00 PM will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
Panvel-Vashi Up and Down Harbor line from 11.05 am to 4.05 pm
(Belapur/Nerul-Kharkopar services not affected)
Up Harbor Line services leaving Panvel to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.33 am to 3.49 pm and Down Harbor line services leaving Panvel/Belapur from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 9.45 am to 3.12 pm will remain cancelled.
Up Transharbour Line services leaving Panvel to Thane from 11.02 am to 3.53 pm and Dn Transharbour line services leaving Thane from 10.01 am to 3.20 pm will remain cancelled.
The suburban train services between Belapur/Nerul and Kharkopar will run as per schedule during the block period.
Transharbour line services between Thane-Vashi/Nerul stations will be available during the block period.
Special suburban trains will run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai-Vashi section during the block period.
These maintenance are essential for the maintenance and security of the mega block infrastructure. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
Meanwhile, a five-hour jumbo block will be taken from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs today on down slow lines between Marine Lines and Mahim (JN) stations, for maintenance work of Western Railway zone track, signaling and overhead equipment. ,
During the block period, all suburban trains of Down Slow Line will be operated on Dn Fast Line between Marine Line and Mahim stations. These diverted trains will not halt at Mahalaxmi, Prabhadevi and Matunga Road stations in the absence of platforms.
Therefore passengers are allowed to travel in the opposite direction to their destination between Bandra and Mumbai Central stations. All down slow service will take advantage of double halt at Lower Parel and Mahim Junction. Some suburban trains will remain canceled during the block.
