Cheating during exams is a common practice among students. Students of a college in the city of Legazpi were asked to wear headgear during mid-term examinations to prevent cheating activities. Those headgears are named 'anti-cheating' hats. The pictures have gone viral on social media platforms.

Mary Joy Manden-Ortiz, professor of mechanical engineering at Bicol University College of Engineering in the Philippines, posted several photos on Facebook of students wearing anti-cheating caps during their mid-term exams.

"The Anti-Cheating Hard Entry of the 3B Midterm Exam Chronicles in Engineering Day 2," Professor Ortiz wrote on Facebook.

Take a look at the pictures below:

After Ortiz asked his students to prepare headgear for their mid-term exams, he came up with a unique creation. These headgear are made from recycled materials like egg boxes, cardboard, paper etc.

"I really love and [I'm] proud of my students because their engineering midterm exams can be pressure and stressful, yet they managed to add some color and fun. Thank you so much, students. You made me proud is,” the professor wrote on Facebook.

This unique way of cracking down on fraud has made headlines in the Philippines with several media outlets sharing the images on their portal, as it has been posted on Facebook by Ortiz.

Thailand reportedly used this technique a few years back. The professor was inspired by that. Similarly, a picture went viral on the internet, showing students at a college in Bangkok wearing 'ear flaps' during their exams.
