Interestingly, neither Musk nor Twitter has given any information about the finalization of the deal yet. After withdrawing from the April deal, a court gave it until Friday to complete the end of the deal as part of the $44 billion takeover deal.

Musk has changed his mind several times over the past six months. After announcing the acquisition of the company with a $54.20 per share bid, Musk called off the deal in the name of Twitter's promise to remove all bot accounts from the platform.

Twitter, which initially opposed the takeover, even by adopting a poison pill defense, agreed to let Musk take over.

Then, suddenly Elon Musk decided to pull out of the deal, citing Twitter's inability to provide details and removing bot accounts from its platform. After this Twitter sued the world's richest man and the case was about to start in a US court.

Earlier this month, Musk again hinted at going back on a $44 billion acquisition deal, calling for Twitter to end the lawsuit.

On Tuesday, news agency Reuters reported that Musk informed his co-investors who are ready to close the takeover and Twitter-Musk deal by this Friday.

According to Reuters, equity investors such as Sequoia Capital, Binance, Qatar Investment Authority and others have received the necessary paperwork for a financing commitment from Musk's lawyers.

Twitter's stock was up about 1% at $53.31 or about $1 below Musk's offer price.
