Delhi Metro has informed us that services will not be available on all its lines till 4 PM on Monday, October 31. This is due to the "Run for Unity" event, which is being organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 31 October – also known as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day.


According to an official notification of Delhi Metro, the trains will start from 4 am. However, the frequency of trains has been kept 30 minutes on all lines till 6 am.


DMRC said that after 6 am, the metro will run as per the normal timetable throughout the day.


"For the convenience of the participants for the 'Run for Unity' on 31st October 2022 (Monday), the Metro services will start from the terminal stations of all the lines from 4 am to 6 am with a frequency of 30 minutes. Thereafter "Services will continue throughout the day as per normal timetable," DMRC said in a tweet.
