• Current Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are expected to vote at the AICC headquarters in New Delhi.
• Rahul Gandhi will vote at the Bharat Jodi Yatra camp in Sanganakallu, Karnataka along with about 40 other Bharat Yatris, who are representatives of the PCC.
The oldest party, the Congress is all set to vote for a non-Gandhi president in more than 24 years. Senior party leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Shashi Tharoor will face each other for the post of AICC chief today, Monday (October 17).
Voting will be held at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters with over 9,000 Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) representatives allowed to choose the party chief in a secret ballot.
For the sixth time in the 137-year history of the Congress, elections will be held at the AICC headquarters in over 65 polling stations across the country.
