India is working on the principle of saturation with the aim that the benefit of each scheme reaches every beneficiary.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that various schemes of the central government are reaching every part of the country, due to which lakhs of people are getting benefits without any discrimination.
Addressing the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations, the Prime Minister said that free vaccines for the people of Siang in Arunachal Pradesh are easily available to the people in Surat in Gujarat. “Medical institutions like AIIMS can be found in Bilaspur, Darbhanga, Guwahati, Rajkot and other parts of the country. The development work of defense corridors is in full swing in Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. Even though different languages are spoken in different parts of the country, government schemes are reaching out to everyone by adding the last person in the queue."
He said lakhs of people in the country have waited for decades for basic needs to be met. “The smaller the gap between the infrastructure, the stronger the unity. India is working on the principle of saturation with the aim that the benefits of each scheme reach every beneficiary. Housing for All, Digital Connectivity for All, Schemes like Clean Cooking for All and Electricity for All are some examples.The mission of reaching 100% citizens is not limited to common facilities but emphasizes on the common objective of cohesive goals, joint development and joint effort. "
PM Modi said that the basic necessities of life are becoming the medium of faith of the common man in the country. “Every Indian will have equal opportunities, and there will be a sense of equality. Today the country is seeing that this dream has come true."
Underlining the importance of Ekta Diwas in 2022, PM Modi said, "Unity is necessary at every level, be it family, society or nation. This spirit manifests itself throughout the country in the form of 75,000 unity runs everywhere. The whole country is taking inspiration from Sardar Patel's determination. Every citizen is taking a pledge to call for the unity of the country and 'Panch Prana'. With this sense of responsibility, Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Efforts will become reality and India will move forward on the path of development.
The Prime Minister also paid tribute to Sardar Patel at the Statue of Unity.
