Traffic was disrupted on a large scale in many parts of Delhi on Saturday as rain continued to lash the national capital for the third consecutive day. Many places remain submerged as the rain shows no signs of abating.
Delhi Traffic Police issued advisory to passengers to plan their journey accordingly.
According to the IMD report, there will be light to direct rain in Delhi and adjoining regions. Travelers are advised to plan their travel likewise," it said in a tweet.
The traffic helpline said it received 16 calls related to jams, three related to waterlogging and five related to felling of trees. On Friday, 19 calls were received on the helpline regarding traffic jams, 11 for waterlogging and 22 for falling trees.
