Doctors reinstated on contract in BGH will contributed on 6 October 2022 , the company signed a contract for one year
A total of 19 contract doctors have been reinstated at Bokaro General Hospital (BGH). All these doctors will take over on 6 October 2022. This will give a lot of relief to the BGH management. The term of the contract can be extended up to a maximum of three years.
Jagran Correspondent, Bokaro: A total of 19 doctors on contract have been reinstated in Bokaro General Hospital (BGH). All these doctors will take over on 6 October 2022. This will give a lot of relief to the BGH management.
It is worth mentioning that due to the retirement of doctors and para medical staff every month, the manpower crisis is getting worse here.
In such a situation, the tension of the management will be removed to a great extent by the reinstatement of new doctors. It is noteworthy that the candidates were interviewed on 3 September 2022 for the selection of doctors in BGH.
19 doctors were selected out of total 110 candidates who appeared in the interview. They will be reinstated on contract for one year, where the contract period can be extended up to a maximum of three years depending on the performance of the doctors.
Salary up to 2.5 lakh rupees, doctors will get accommodation and phone facility
In Bokaro General Hospital, 11 doctors for General Duty Medical Officer, 6 for Specialist and 2 for Super Specialist have been reinstated on contract. 2 doctors have been selected for General Duty Medical Officer in SRU Bhandaridah unit and 1 for GDMO in Mines Unit of BSL, 2 for Medical Officer, 2 for Specialist and 2 for Dentistry.
90 thousand per month for MBBS degree holders, PG Diploma degree holders up to 1 lakh 20 thousand, MD degree doctors, 1 lakh 60 thousand and MBBS with MCI degree holders 2 lakh 50 thousand. An honorarium of Rs. will be given by the SAIL Management. Apart from this, the facility of accommodation and mobile phone will also be given to them by the company.
Cancer department of BGH will start from October 6
The cancer department has got the maximum relief due to the reinstatement of 19 doctors on contract in Bokaro General Hospital. The reason for this is that after the retirement of Dr. Pankaj Sharma, the head of the department of oncology in BGH, there is no longer a single doctor of cancer disease here.
Due to this the department is currently temporarily closed. After Dr TM Singh has been selected in the Department of Oncology in BGH, the hospital management has heaved a sigh of relief as he is aware of all the activities going on in this department for a long time. It is expected that from October 6, the oncology department of BGH will be started again.
