Bihar Weather Update: Heavy rain may occur in these districts of Bihar, alert issued regarding thunderstorm in 18 districts

 

According to the latest update of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning in 18 districts of the state including the capital Patna. For which the Meteorological Office has given a caution.


Patna: Monsoon is going to end soon in Bihar. Monsoon activity has reduced in the state. However, it has been raining continuously in the state since the past days. At the same time, due to rain in other parts of the state, a change in weather has been observed on Saturday. It rained in many parts of the state after noon on Saturday. 


After which people have got relief from the sultry heat. According to the latest update of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning in 18 districts of the state including the capital Patna. For which the Meteorological Division has given an alarm.

Heavy rain likely from September 12
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the southern part of the state, Gaya, Nawada, Nalanda, Aurangabad, Rohtas, Banka, Jamui, Patna and other districts. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of good rain in the state for the next five days.


 There is a possibility of heavy rain in the state from September 12. Out of which the forecast of good rain has been issued for the first time in the entire monsoon season. However, this time Bihar has received 36 percent less rainfall than the average.


Gopalganj received 47.8 mm of rain
At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in the capital Patna and its surrounding areas on Sunday.

Apart from this, an alert has been issued in Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Saharsa, Purnia, Katihar, Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhabua, Aurangabad districts of the state regarding thunder and lightning.


Individuals have been spoke to remain in homes. At the same time, good rains were recorded in many areas of the state on Saturday. Out of which 47.8 mm of rain was recorded in Gopalganj district.


Chance of thunder and thunder
At the same time, a three degree Celsius increase was recorded in the normal temperature of the capital Patna on Saturday. Patna recorded a temperature of 35.0 degrees. Apart from this, there was a temperature of 37.4 degree Celsius in Sitamarhi.


 According to the Meteorological Department, the Monsoon Trough is moving towards West Central North West Bay of Bengal via Okha, Akola, North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha coast. Due to which there is a possibility of thunderstorms with rain and thunder in many areas.


At the same time, good rain was recorded in many areas on Saturday. Out of which Siwan recorded 38.5 mm of rain, Nowhatta 31.2 mm, Jamui 31 mm, Amarpur 16.8 mm, and Matiyani 8.4 mm. At the same time, people have got a lot of relief after the rain.
